If so, the Educational and Behavioral Specialist position within our Center Point School may be a great fit for you!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

The Center Point School is an alternative school that offers academic services in a therapeutic environment for middle and high school-aged youth with emotional, neurological, and/or behavioral issues.

The Educational and Behavioral Specialist is responsible for intervention plan coordination of an assigned caseload, acts as a coordinator, teacher, and assistant in the therapeutic school, and manages student behavior and conduct.

PAY & BENFITS:

  • $15.00/hour

Qualifications:

  • In accordance with the Oregon Health Authority rule, all K-12 staff must be fully vaccinated or have an approved exemption/accommodation before beginning work.
  • High school diploma required; Associates' degree or bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field preferred.
  • One year of work experience with youth with emotional disturbance, neurological, and/or behavior disorders.
  • Understanding of counseling practices is preferred.
  • Experience with youth with special education needs is most helpful.
