Description

Program Director - Treatment Court

Are you a dedicated and compassionate behavioral health leader with a strong commitment to helping people experiencing substance use disorder who are involved in the criminal justice system? Emergence is seeking a Program Director to lead our Focus Treatment Court program. As the Program Directory, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our program, overseeing its daily operations, and collaborating with stakeholders on the interdisciplinary treatment court team to ensure its success and effectiveness. If you are a motivated leader with a deep understanding of SUD treatment, recovery, and criminal justice, we invite you to join our team and contribute to the transformation of lives in our community and beyond.

Research has demonstrated that roughly 75% of the crimes committed at the state and local levels are substance-related, and it costs the taxpayers about $96 per day to house someone in the county jail. Treatment court is the most successful evidence-based alternative to mass incarceration, and the cost to taxpayers of providing treatment and supervision is only $9 per day. Treatment court saves lives, saves families, and saves the taxpayers money.

Since 1994, Emergence has proudly served as a contract treatment partner with the Lane County Circuit Court. Emergence provides treatment to people enrolled in the Lane County Adult (Drug) Treatment Court, Lane County Veterans Treatment Court, and Lane County Mental Health Court. Emergence helps people involved in the justice system to turn their lives around, and you can play a vital role in their success.
