RCC, or the Regional Crisis Center, is a subacute residential facility where youth are placed directly from the Department of Human Services. RCC provides residential living facilities, mental health treatment, family counseling, substance use disorders treatment, and academic instruction. RCC clients are often combative and have multiple neurological or behavioral challenges. RCC uses verbal de-escalation tactics as well as seclusion rooms and full-body restraints, when necessary, to ensure the safety of our clients.
