Systems West Engineers is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager to join our consulting engineering firm.

We are a team of skilled engineers, designers, and technicians, who are also bicycle commuters, photographers, volunteers, DIY fanatics, gardeners, skiers, hikers, and experimenters. The right-fit candidate enjoys dynamic engineering designs for the built environment, as well as management of design projects, and assigned team members. To be successful at SWE, this position requires the candidate to have knowledge and experience in a variety of institutional facilities and building systems. Preferred system experience includes:

• HVAC systems

• Utility distribution systems

This is a full time, exempt position. Competitive salary starting at $105,000, DOE. Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plan with contributions and company performance bonus.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience managing multi-disciplinary MEP design projects and teams
• Degree in engineering
• Professional Engineering (PE) registration
• Previous experience supervising and mentoring staff
