DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Emergence is seeking a dedicated and compassionate female UA technician to join our Focus team. Among other things, this person will be charged with safeguarding sensitive information so confidentiality is of highest priority.

The Focus program works with the Lane County Treatment Court to provide outpatient treatment services to justice-involved community members. This special program is offered to those who are looking for methods to break the cycle of incarceration and our counselors support these goals by teaching clients prosocial values to reduce thinking errors and tactics to avoid accountability. Treatment Court staff work to set our clients up for success with counseling and case management services.

The UA Tech provides administrative support services to clients and clinical staff and duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Observing urinalyses for women in the Emergence's Focus program which provides services for Lane County Treatment Court.
  • Completing accurate and thorough clinical documentation in a variety of mediums including pen and paper or through the use of Emergence electronic health records system, Carelogic.
  • Maintaining chain of custody reports and ensuring all required documentation is stored and organized appropriately.
  • Cleaning and restocking restrooms regularly during shift.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION FOR POSITION

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • This position is part time, 16 to 20 hours per week, Friday through Sunday.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • Able to build and maintain relationships with staff, agencies, organizations, community partners and providers to optimize treatment for clients.
  • Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, team leader and able to work with others.
  • Meets deadlines and prioritizes requests from multiple parties.
  • Fluent in written and oral communication, able to present information through different mediums and comfortable using technology.
  • Contributes to positive culture for team and organization.
  • Passionate about the work they do, able to inspire long-term goals and implement short-term goals.
  • Approachable, responsible and inclusive while working with staff. Understanding of multicultural differences and promotes a diverse workforce while treating everyone with integrity and upholding company values.
  • Dependable, responsible and committed to tasks and staff.
  • CRM preferred but not required.
