We are looking for a dedicated leader who is interested in building an equitable system designed to support families and strengthen communities and experienced in complex project management and program implementation.
Through a well-funded grant this initiative will develop a closed-loop navigation and referral system, utilizing the Unite Us platform, ensuring families with children will have access to critical resources. In this role, you'll lead the creation of this system, support a team of Spanish-bilingual-bicultural navigators, and collaborate with a diverse network of community partners working toward a shared vision of family well-being.

What Does Navigation Mean in This Role?
As Education Navigation Manager, you'll create and oversee a system that:
- Connects Families to Resources - Parenting education, healthcare, childcare, and social services.
- Ensures Follow-Through - Tracking referrals to make sure families receive the support they need.
- Reduces Barriers - Supporting families as they navigate complex systems, ensuring they have the information and guidance to access services effectively.
- Improves Over Time - Establishing a feedback loop where referrals, outcomes, and family experiences inform continuous improvements.
What You'll Do:
Lead System Development & Implementation
- Oversee the design and implementation of the closed-loop referral system on the Unite Us platform.
- Set goals, manage project timelines, and ensure alignment with community needs.
- Continuously refine the system to improve outcomes for families.
Manage and Support Your Team
- Supervise and mentor a team of Spanish-bilingual-bicultural navigators, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
- Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, continuous improvement and equity-driven service.
Build and Strengthen Community Partnerships
- Collaborate with a diverse range of providers, from health systems and early childhood education programs to community service organizations.
- Facilitate meetings, build partnerships, and ensure all partners are working toward common goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between United Way of Lane County and key stakeholders.
Champion Equity and Inclusion
- Center diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) into all aspects of the work.
- Address systemic barriers that prevent historically marginalized families from accessing services.
Ensure Program Excellence
- Develop reporting systems to track impact and progress.
- Communicate insights, outcomes and opportunities to funders and community partners.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum Education and Experience: We know that great candidates come from a variety of backgrounds. If you are excited about this role, we encourage you to apply-even if you don't meet every requirement.
- Project Management Expertise: 3-5 years of experience leading complex projects and managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables; 2-3 years of relevant experience with applicable degree or certification in project management, non-profit management, communications, health systems, or similar
- Program Development Skills: Hands-on experience developing, launching, and improving programs, ideally in health systems, community services, or similar fields.
- Supervisory Experience: 1-2 years managing a team with a collaborative, supportive approach.
- Collaboration & Facilitation: Strong ability to engage diverse partners, facilitate productive meetings, and build trusted relationships across industries.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey ideas and inspire action.
Helpful (But Not Required) Qualifications:
- Experience in education, early childhood systems, or family services is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Unite Us platform or other referral systems.
- Spanish bilingual and bicultural background strongly preferred; preference given to candidates who meet this criterion.

SALARY STATEMENT
Grade 1: $51,786 to $62,143 annually
Grade 2: $62,143 to $74,572 annually.
