We are hiring for a back end swing shift supervisor position at PEER Shelter!

The Peer Counselor Supervisor is responsible for the proper functioning of assigned shifts and the supervision of Peer Counselors and clients at the PEER Shelter. They will provide culturally informed, effective, quality peer services to clients at the Looking Glass PEER Shelter. This position assists with providing crisis intervention, maintaining a positive milieu, and creating behavior management plans for youth who access services.

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Availability: Wednesday - Saturday, 2p-12a

Overview of the PEER & BHRN Programs

Looking Glass PEER Shelter is a 24-hour accessible, low-barrier shelter for youth ages
16 – 24 years old who are unhoused or otherwise in crisis. PEER shelter emphasizes harm reduction to meet our client's basic needs and assist them in moving toward stabilization.

The Behavioral Health Resource Network (BHRN) is an Oregon state network, in response to Measure 110 and Oregon Senate Bill 755, consisting of a network of entities providing services related to the healthy management of substance use concerns. The BHRN program is a new extension of the services provided at the Homeless Youth Services. BHRN services provide support to youth who are experiencing substance use issues.
