United Way of Lane County, on behalf of the Early Childhood Hub, seeks an enthusiastic and engaged Bilingual Resource Navigation Coordinator. We are creating a new closed-loop navigation and referral system for families with children from prenatal to age 6.
This role blends program development with hands-on family support. The Resource Navigator will work collaboratively with colleagues and providers to help build and refine the systems and tools that make referrals seamless. At the same time, they will work directly with families to understand their needs and provide personalized support and referrals while helping to reduce stigma and normalize asking for help as a natural and positive step for family well-being.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships and supporting families with young children to access the resources and services they need.
To best serve our community, the successful candidate will be Spanish English bilingual, with preference given to candidates who are also bicultural. A bilingual pay differential is available after proficiency testing is completed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be able to perform each essential duty listed below at a satisfactory level with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Collaborate in implementing and refining the new closed-loop navigation and referral system
- Participate in all navigation, referral, and other early care and education-related projects, including continuous quality improvement, while developing and fostering positive, strategic relationships
- Receive and send referrals. Ensure timely and accurate data entry and tracking of referral outcomes.
- Communicate with all families using trauma-informed practices; develop and deepen relationships with families to better understand the needs and circumstances of the region's priority populations
- Develop deep knowledge of and connection to local and statewide resources for families
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Provide a high degree of attention to detail, accuracy, quality and professionalism
- This position requires a valid Oregon driver's license and may require the use of a personal vehicle to attend work-related events and activities from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in related field; some work experience; OR Associates degree with two years related work experience; OR Comparable combination of education, training, or relevant work experience that demonstrates similar knowledge and skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish); preference given to candidates who are also bicultural
- Must score a 6 or higher in Spanish proficiency testing (testing completed upon hire)
- Cultural humility and ability to work across diverse communities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; comfort using technology for data entry, virtual communication, and program management
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn local and statewide family support resources
- Ability to manage referrals and reports, track and organize records, contracts, subcontracts
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
